I was pretty disappointed in the final product, mostly because I think the new stage of the game isn't as good as the first half and as far as actual incremental mechanics go its pretty lacking.
The game has some things I definitely like, but I can get incrementals I find a lot more satisfying and fun for free online. Definently has higher production values than most incrementals though(and higher than any without IAP to my knowledge) so I mean I see why its charged for. I won't say don't pay for it, as $5 is pretty cheap, but know you're mostly paying for some unique visuals/sound/ideas that aren't terribly fleshed out. I feel I greatly disagree. It may not do much more to the incremental genre than add in a deeper story than most devs care to create for an incremental, but that story is wonderfully absurd and hilarious in a way that catches me personally. That's what makes the five dollar price tag worth it for me personally. The effort put into the visual design and story, rather than the mechanics of the game.
I see it less of buying a game, and more of buying an interactive/visual novel. Little replayability but an experience that is great for at least a one off.

Well I played the web version after seeing some praise and to me it basically shows how much graphics don't make a game. While I still enjoyed it for a bit, although not enough to finish it, when you break it down it's an extremely simple game with not a lot behind it.As a person who tends to get their money's worth in games I wouldn't personally pay a $5 for an extended version of it, but you can play the web version to judge whether it's up your alley or not. The store page for Spaceplan does only promise double the content of the original game after all. As a purely incremental game, I was also disappointed. But as a single player game with incremental gameplay from a Dev who made the browser game I enjoyed as well, I think it was worth the $3 I payed for it.I personally would have liked a more substantial game, with more incremental mechanics and things to work towards with less focus on timing puzzles as the 'final boss'.
I have payed for a few idle games so far and for the most part, they don't earn the money when I have played other strictly free or F2P games for longer. I don't think I would play through it again, or suggest that friends pick it up, because it is extremely short, especially for $3 on a platform of F2P games.
But the game itself was important for the incremental games community if for nothing else, getting us talking about the cost of these games, and if its possible to have games like these end in a satisfying way.
